Integrity Tool & Mold Inc. is investing $6.3 million in a new, larger toolmaking facility in Pulaski, Tenn., that will help the firm keep up with auto business in the region.
The 42,850-square-foot site will replace an existing 20,000-square-foot facility, with room for additional equipment and a better production layout, the company said in a news release from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
Integrity, based in Oldcastle, Ontario, also expects to add as many as 45 new jobs with the expansion. It currently employs about 50. The company first opened in Tennessee in 2007. The Southern location gives it better access to the growing auto production base in the area, allowing for faster turnaround, the company said.
The additional space will give it room to bring in the newest mold-making equipment and technology, making it possible to produce more-complex injection molds, said corporate General Manager Scott Allen. The new building will upgrade to an overhead crane with a capacity of 50 tons, up from the current 40-ton crane.
Integrity has five facilities in three sites: Pulaski, Oldcastle, and Querétaro, Mexico.
