WILDAU, GERMANY (March 15, 12:30 p.m. ET) -- Auto supplier Johnson Controls Inc (JCI) is working with the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Polymeric Materials and Composites (PYCO) to develop sustainable materials for automotive applications.
Within the framework of the agreement, JCI and the Fraunhofer Institution will expand the PYCO-Technikum science center in Wildau, and will implement new processing technologies.
PYCO manufactures highly cross-linked polymers. The two companies will work, in particular, on polymers that are recyclable and repairable, as well as have good mechanical properties. | |
